Hong Kong (CNN) A satellite image obtained by CNN shows China has deployed at least four J-10 fighter jets to the contested Woody Island in the South China Sea, the first known deployment of fighter jets there since 2017.

The image was taken Wednesday and represents the first time J-10s have been seen on Woody or any Chinese-controlled islands in the South China Sea, according to ImageSat International, which supplied the image to CNN.

(NLĐO)- Cạnh tranh trong hàng không là cần thiết để tránh thế độc quyền, song cạnh tranh quá mức, cạnh tranh không lành mạnh thì không hay và gây ra nhiều hệ quả, trong đó có vấn đề an toàn.

Hệ quả khó lường

Thủ tướng Nguyễn Xuân Phúc trong một cuộc họp về hàng không mới đây nhận định thời gian qua, ngành hàng không Việt Nam đã khởi sắc với việc ra đời của các hãng hàng không mới, tạo sự cạnh tranh có lợi cho khách hàng. Tuy nhiên, Thủ tướng lưu ý một số bất cập nảy sinh có nguy cơ uy hiếp an ninh, an toàn hàng không, chất lượng dịch vụ chưa đảm bảo và bắt đầu có hiện tượng cạnh tranh không lành mạnh.

TTO – Washington đã gọi Đài Loan là “một quốc gia” trong chiến lược Ấn Độ – Thái Bình Dương dài 55 trang vừa được công bố, nhấn mạnh sự hỗ trợ của Đài Bắc trong việc duy trì “một trật tự thế giới tự do và rộng mở”.

US slaps 400%-plus import tariffs on Vietnam steel

The Hanoitimes – Customs officials have been ordered to collect cash deposits at rates as high as 456.23% on imports of the steel products produced in Vietnam using material from South Korea and Taiwan.

The US Commerce Department decided to imposed import duties of more than 400% on steel imports from Vietnam, accusing some businesses of shipping products from the Southeast Asian nation to evade the levies in a further escalation of tension between the two trading partners, Bloomberg reported.

TPO – Từ ngày 1/7, gần 50 người dân đã dựng lều, cản xe rác vào Khu liên hiệp xử lý chất thải Nam Sơn (Bãi rác Nam Sơn) khiến các quận nội thành có khả năng bị ngập trong rác. Đáng chú ý, thời điểm chặn xe rác đúng vào lúc huyện Sóc Sơn chi trả tiền bồi thường hỗ trợ người dân di dời.

Ngày 2/7, tại tuyến đường 35 dẫn vào bãi rác Nam Sơn xuất hiện nhiều người dân tụ tập có hành vi chặn xe, không cho vận chuyển rác thải vào bãi để xử lý.

VOV4.VN – Trước khi chơi đu, người Hà nhì ở xã Ka Lăng, Mường Tè, Lai Châu phải cúng. Họ chỉ dựng cây đu đúng 1 lần trong năm vào dịp Tết mùa mưa, tức là vào khoảng tháng 5 âm lịch. Không chỉ là một trò chơi mua vui, chơi đu còn là hình thức “tạ tội” với cỏ cây, thần linh.

Tết Mùa mưa Dế khù chà được tổ chức khoảng 4 ngày. Dịp này, nhiều nghi lễ được bà con tiến hành với mong muốn cầu cho mưa thuận gió hòa, mùa màng bội thu, gia súc, gia cầm sinh sôi, phát triển, con cháu khỏe mạnh.

Em chỉ đưa đón các cháu từ nhà đến trường; hỗ trợ cô giáo chủ nhiệm giảng dạy, chăm sóc các cháu khi ăn khi ngủ và thông tin đến phụ huynh về tình hình học tập, sức khỏe của các cháu. Em không phải thầy chính thức đâu!”.

New research shows public interest damage caused by corporate justice

Amsterdam, Brussels (June 24, 2019) — New research published today reveals the devastating consequences of the controversial Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) system. A common ingredient in international trade and investment agreements, ISDS creates a parallel justice system that rolls out the red carpet for corporations to sue states when they act in the public interest. Red carpet courts: 10 stories of how the rich and powerful hijacked justice, by Corporate Europe Observatory, the Transnational Institute and Friends of the Earth Europe/International, gathers 10 recent cases from around the world that show why ISDS and its copy-paste rebranding pushed by the EU have no place in any international agreement. The research comes one day before EU member states’ likely approval of a new EU-Vietnam investment agreement, which includes ISDS-style courts (25 June).
