This is the song in the 1986 Chinese television series Journey to the West, when Buddhist monk Tang Sanzang and his disciples arrive at the Kingdom of Women. The Kingdom of Women is the Mosuo tribe near Lugu Lake in Yunnan, China.

The song is the heart of the Queen of the Kingdom of Women to Tang Sanzang. The Queen wants to marry Tang Sanzang. But Tang Sanzang refuses the Queen to continue his holy pilgrimage to India seeking out and bringing back to China Buddhist scriptures.

On the outside, Tang Sanzang refuses, but on the inside, perhaps Tang Sanzang is heartbroken. He is heartbroken because perhaps he also loves the Queen. Moreover, he is heartbroken because he has made the woman heartbroken (because of him).

The older I get, the more I feel I understand Tang Sanzang. The feeling of love is strong, but the feeling for the whole person is stronger.
