Born again

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It is very interesting that the idea of “born again, rebirth, reincarnation” and the like is present in many cultures of the world – Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism, and many religions around the world in small indigenous tribes and nations since the ancient time till now. The idea is some what different with each culture, but they all talk about refreshing our life and our soul with a new beginning.

The idea of starting again with a clean slate is very important for our life. You have smoked cigarette for thirty years; now you decide to stop smoking and start again as a new non-smoker. You haven’t exercised and are way overweight; now you decide to exercise, watch what you eat, and start again to gain a thin body. Your business has collapsed; now you decide to start again with a start-up rising up from the ash of the old business. You have just divorced; now you decide to start again with a big wound and a lot of experience about life and love.

We always have the opportunities to be born again into a new person – sometimes from a happy event, sometimes from a painful event, sometimes with our own plan, sometimes with God’s plan. For whatever reason, a chance to renew ourself into a new person is always an opportunity to live with a new self. Use that new self to live as a fresh start-up.

Every opportunity to start again is an opportunity. You are a general of your life battle. You have your own strategies. But the main strategy is this: whatever way the battle is moving, you change your strategies and movements along to win the battle – constantly changing, constantly renewing plans and movements.

Never a fixed old person. Always renewing, always self-refreshing.

Wish we all be born again constantly.

With compassion,

Hoành
