Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Many generations before us served the country well with their courage, blood and life, fighting for our country’s survival and independence. Of course, the entire nations were in those struggles, but the main force was always the young, 18 and up, going to battles.

What are you guys in the young generation doing to serve your country today?

You know, when we are in a situation of life and death, we always have a clear life purpose – fighting, win or die, for the country.

But now in peace time, we have a big problem. Nhàn cư vi bất thiện – leisurely living is not good. In peace time, without the pressure of fighting, many youths are lost and have no idea of what to do.

I have news for you. No one can give you a life purpose. You must define your life purpose for yourself.

You need to be serious with your life and give it a meaning. All the generations before us had meaningful purposes and our generation needs to have a meaningful purpose too, to continue the good tradition of the previous generations and pass on that tradition to our children and grand children.

Our country is in a fierce competition with many other countries in the economic front. This global competition is probably harder than the previous wars, because we have to compete with all countries of the world and because it is almost invisible – most people in the country can’t even see that we are in a huge economic struggle.

So, people live with the leisurely attitude that “I don’t have anything meaningful to do.” That’s too bad.

Everyone of us needs to be a soldier in this global economic struggle. Everyone one of us needs to be wise and hardworking, to be super-good at whatever job we do, to contribute to the economic strength of the nation. The nation’s strength depends on the productive skills of each economic soldier in the country.

We don’t have the luxury to be mediocre or average. In this struggle, the best companies win, and the best countries win. the second-rank or third-rank companies or countries will always be the servants of the best.

We want to be the best. We don’t want to be the servant.

And that requires every citizen to have the best working skills.

So, whatever you are learning, concentrate on learning it very well. Whatever job you are doing, focus on doing it very well, and always update your knowledge and skills to the best level in your job.

You need to focus your mind on helping the country rise to the top level of the world.

Don’t waste time on dumb stuff like fashionable clothing, e-cigarette and vaping, drinking, hotspots, running after divos and divas, chatting nonsense…

You don’t have time for such dumb stuff. You want to focus on your learning and working to move your country to the top rank of the world.

Be an conomic supersoldier for your country. Give your life a higher purpose than yourself. Leave you mark on your path so that your children and grand children will be proud of you, so that they can continue your journey after you.

We all need to grow up and be responsible for our country, by being the best we can be.
