Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Most injustice in the world has been created by big world powers. The easiest to see is the colonial period that has just been over in the middle of 20th century, in which Vietnam was one of the victims of the colonizing France, which passed off South Vietnam to US who tried be the boss but was defeated by the Vietnamese.

The consequences of the colonial time are still with the colonized nations today and pose so many obstacles and difficulties for the former colonies’ socio-politico-economic development.

At the present time, we can see the problems of the former French colonies: Mali, Sudan, Marocco, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Congo, Gabon, Somali…, or former Spanish colonies: Nicaragua, Cuba, Honduras, Venezuela, Columbia, Haiti, Dominican Republic… The huge problem now with Israel and the Palestinians started in 1948 with UK proposed and the world powers, especially the US as we can see today, agreed to create an Israel state in Palestine and moved the Palestinians into the concentration/refugee camps right in the Palestinian homeland, on which they have lived for thousands of years… Calling that injustice is an understatement. Saying “Where is God almighty for 75 yrs now?” makes much more sense. But don’t say that to American politicians – they simply can’t fathom it; they think you are speaking some dead Babylonian language of the 19th century BC (BC folks, not CE). The way American politicians are going gungho about supporting Israel in butchering thousands and thousands of Palestinian women, children and civilians shocks me to the foundation about the so-called American heart (though I am an American).

My point is that the world problems have been created mostly by major powers of the world. And that makes sense, because if you are a minor power of the world, you wouldn’t have enough strength to mess up the world as the big guys have done.

My dear friends, when I was little, I had faith in the major powers of the world. In my young mind then, the big countries have great intelligence to run the world, so what they do to the world must be good for the entire world. Wow, you can see how wrong the little me was. The world powers may have intelligence to conquer every little country in the world, but only to exploit, oppress, abuse and enslave the little guys. The world powers don’t give a damn about the good for the world – if they say they are trying to do good to the world, you can just close your eyes and say “Liar!” and you will have 90% chance to be correct – the 10% left is for miracle from Heaven.

My point is: Don’t wait for the goodwill of others, especially when they are the strong. Most people/countries use their strength to oppress and rob and rape the weak. So, we have to be intelligent, smart, supersmart, to stand tall and solid in the world, to have enough strength and talent to defend ourselves – and hopefully also defend other weak people/countries – from the thieves and robbers of the world.

Strength comes from the head and the heart, not from the arms and the legs. So, use your brain and your heart, develop your brain and your heart, be smart, be intelligent, be strong, be winning, for yourself and for your countries and for the better world.

We have to feel nauseous and sick with the way the big guys have been running the world like they are all powerful gangster bosses stepping on the heads of the little guys.

For this world to have any sense of equality, mutual respect, decency and true peace, the little countries need to wise up – wisdom give you strength.

So, brothers and sisters, wise up. Make yourself wise and strong and powerful, for your country and for a better world.

Wish we all be smart and strong and righteous.

  1. Em cảm ơn chị Hương, chị Hằng, anh Phong, chị Huyên, anh/chị Tuyenauto đã chia sẻ cảm nhận về những bài viết bằng tiếng Anh của anh Hoành.

    Cá nhân em thấy anh Hoành viết trà đàm bằng tiếng Anh là cơ hội quý giá để mọi người vừa được học về tâm linh tích cực, lại được đọc và học cách viết tiếng Anh hay và đẹp từ anh mỗi ngày.

    Ngoài ra, đây cũng là cơ hội tốt để giúp cho các bạn nước ngoài biết đến tư duy tích cực, để chúng ta cùng nhau cộng hưởng và tạo ra nhiều năng lượng an lành cho thế giới.

    Chị Hương và chị Hằng có nhắc đến tiếng Anh đẹp và sâu sắc, đến Thánh Kinh – Holy Bible. Quả thật, hồi mới biết đến ĐCN, em rất ấn tượng và thích học tiếng anh giản dị và sâu sắc từ anh Hoành, từ những câu tiếng Anh có trong Thánh Kinh, hay những chia sẻ về tiếng Anh, những lời cầu nguyện của chị Hương và chị Hằng đều giúp ích cho em rất nhiều. Em cảm ơn anh, chị.

  2. Em cũng thích các bài Trà Đàm bằng tiếng anh ạ. Phong cách hành văn của anh Hoành vẫn y chang khi viết tiếng Việt . Rất khác biệt với các báo anh ngữ trong và ngoài nước.

  3. Em cũng chia sẻ là từ khi anh Hoành chuyển sang viết tiếng anh em siêng vào vườn chuối hơn, em cảm thấy em dễ ” ngấm” hơn, em rất thích ạ.

  4. Hi Hương, Phong và cả nhà,

    Mình xác nhận điều này “Anh Hoành là một trong số rất ít ít người trên thế giới viết tiếng Anh rất đẹp và sâu sắc.” Một trong lý do anh Hoành có được điều này (ngoài việc phải viết tốt vì hành nghề luật sư) là vì anh Hoành học tiếng Anh từ Thánh Kinh (Holy Bible) và anh Hoành cũng là thầy dạy Bible Trên thế giới cũng cực ít, đếm trên đầu ngón tay, người thầy dạy Bible được như anh Hoành. Mình khẳng định điều này.

    Mình học Bible từ anh Hoành, và cũng học tiếng Anh từ anh Hoành. Và nhờ đó mình vẫn tiếp tục học tiếng Anh từ Bible. Mình không biết câu Thánh Kinh tiếng Việt nào trước khi được học Bible bằng tiếng Anh từ anh Hoành.

  5. Vì Phong nói “không biết anh chị em khác như thế nào” nên chị cho Phong biết chị thế nào từ ngày anh Hoành chuyển sang viết tiếng Anh.

    Từ ngày anh Hoành chuyển sang viết tiếng Anh, chị có cơ hội được đọc tiếng Anh và được đọc trà đàm bằng tiếng Anh mỗi ngày. Ở thời Internet này, đâu đâu cũng có tiếng Anh và ai ai cũng có thể viết tiếng Anh. Nhưng tiếng Anh đẹp và sâu sắc thì ít nơi có và ít người có thể viết được. Anh Hoành là một trong số rất ít ít người trên thế giới (khỏi nói ở VN) viết tiếng Anh rất đẹp và sâu sắc. Chị thích học tiếng Anh đẹp và sâu sắc đó. Những bài trà đàm tiếng Anh của anh Hoành giúp chị có động lực để làm cho tiếng Anh của mình được đẹp và được tốt như vậy.

    Những bài tiếng Anh của anh Hoành, chị đọc và hiểu (mặt chữ) toàn bộ. (Chị nói hiểu mặt chữ, vì để hiểu sâu hơn dưới lớp da thì cần thực hành nhiều hơn.) Chị hiểu mặt chữ có lẽ vì quen thuộc với cách viết của anh Hoành. Anh Hoành đã viết gần 6.000 bài tiếng Việt. Chị đã đọc gần hết các bài của anh, và đã và đang thực hành các bài đó, nên khi anh chuyển sang viết tiếng Anh, chị thấy suôn sẻ vì đã quen thuộc với tư duy và cách viết của anh.

    Chị tin có rất nhiều anh chị em có nhu cầu phát triển chính mình. Và ĐCN là trường dạy học có tâm và có tầm tốt nhất mà chị từng biết.

    Càng có nhiều người phát triển chính mình, đất nước và thế giới sẽ càng phát triển.

  6. Dear a Hoành,

    Em không biết anh chị em khác như thế nào nhưng riêng em từ ngày anh chuyển sang viết tiếng Anh thì em cũng mất thói quen vào vườn chuối mỗi ngày. Không phải em không thích đọc bằng tiếng Anh vì em vẫn luôn đọc tin tức bằng tiếng Anh mỗi ngày. Nhưng vườn chuối đối với riêng em và có lẽ cũng nhiều người khác đã quá quen với tiếng Việt vì dù sao cũng dễ đọc và dễ thấm hơn. DCN vẫn luôn có các bài điểm tin mỗi ngày bằng tiếng Anh và em thấy như vậy là khá đủ. Một chút ý kiến của em gửi đến anh ạ.

When I returned, I delved into Vietnam’s history, feeling the pain of powerful countries conquering the world. I now understand more about how the war has inflicted suffering on my beloved nation, with thousands of civilians, children, and women dead. It’s heartbreaking to think that each region of my country has a significant number of casualties from the prolonged conflict, which only finished 50 years ago. The consequences of this war continue to impact us today.

    Stepping beyond my nation’s borders, I’ve experienced the world’s injustices, especially concerning issues like immigration, racism. I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the words you shared with us in dotchuoinon. My feelings aren’t just based on words; they come from my experiences, what I’ve seen with my own eyes, and the stories around my life.

    I pray for peace in the world and hope that we can be channels of the Lord’s peace.
