We are the world because the world is made up of every single person on this planet. The world is our big family. And everyone of us needs to contribute to the family’s nourishment.

That is the responsibility of every human being.

If you think the world is so far away and it has nothing to do with you, then you are so behind the time. Wake up, brother!

Say, currently the world has three main problems (in addition to several dozens of lesser problems): Covid, Russia-Ukraine war, and Israel-Palestinians war. All these three, in the last several years, have disrupted the supply chains so bad that they created the global economic depression with inflation and economic downturn in every country, including Viet Nam. You can see around you – housing market is not moving, many people are unemployed, prices of oil and gas have risen, prices of everything have risen, and many of us have less money in our pocket to spend…

So, you can see that something happening somewhere in the world may affects all of us in Vietnam.

That is the main reason you need to pay attention to the world and its problems, in order to see your own problems early and find ways to prevent you own problems.

But the more important reason why you should pay attention to the world is that attention to the world will open your mind and your heart, make you wise in politics, business, and in matters of the human heart, as well as in sociological problems everywhere. Basically, you would become a better leader. Paying attention to the world builds your leadership.

You want to be a good leader, be it leader of your school or leader of your country? Pay attention to world affairs, of your Global Village.
